DIY NAKED CAKE

The easiest cake hack ever! I love a very minimalistic cake when you really want to highlight a variety of decorations or supplement another focal point. Not only are these cakes cute and fun to decorate but they’re also a money saver! Ask your baker for a small round cake with a plain frost (you could also do a naked frost) or if you’re feeling really crafty then you can even attempt to make one of these cakes yourself! My sister has the talent to pop these beautifully frosted cakes out! I prefer to just decorate them! Once you have your frosted cake, decorate to your heart’s desire! I love going this route because you can use party decorations on your cake, flowers, personal items, etc! AND you can say it’s homemade… kind of!
