Palm Springs 21st Birthday Custom Kit

Greetings from beautiful Palm Springs… But actually I’m sharing this post from freezing Bend as I wasn’t able to go last minute. However, I sent cute goodies down with the birthday crew and just wanted to highlight how easy it can be to pack some festive fun on your next getaway!

This was going to be a birthday trip with a handful of girls - in an amazing VRBO (I’ll link it when I find it again) that didn’t NEED any decorations so we just focused on a few fun travel items, and a few easy to dispose of decorations and goods that wouldn’t take up much space in the luggage or get in the way of the beautiful home!

First, pictures! Below the pictures will be the details of what I customized and put together for this group of girls! This is also my own shameless plug to remind you that you don’t have to be planning an over-the-top event to enlist help - I am happy to build a custom kit for the most intimate of gatherings!

These pictures made me seriously contemplate jumping in my car and joining the party! The sun, the pastels, the palm trees, and treats - you can’t go wrong!

So here’s the details: First of all, we decided to give each girl a pre-trip package. Tied in a roll with ribbon was a striped beach towel, a luggage tag that said “Meet me in Palm Springs”, and a customized “adult capri sun” style drink pouch which each girl’s name printed on them.

I also ordered themed cookies and you can always find a baker close to your destination (Instagram is great for this) or you can use your local baker and put them in an airtight container or seal and bubble wrap them! No promises that the cookies will arrive safe BUT you can weigh your options. These fun pastel themed cookies by Iron Rose Baking Co stole the show! They matched all the vibes and were one of the cutest sets I have ever seen!

At the house: the mother of the birthday girl traveled with the rest of the supplies and I advised her to just set everything up in a bright, beautiful and small location - all together so that all the cute goodies could truly be highlighted. I always say this and will continue always saying this: put all your decorations together in one spot if you are doing a small or an at-home celebration! Have a fun focal point rather than decorations that get lost in the home. I sent her with all sorts of fun stuff from the happy bash co shop and some stuff from other small shops. Yellow and white striped napkins, beach ball napkins, suns out buns out reusable cups, beach balls, a customized 21st birthday banner and a customized disco drink tumbler! SO much fun, so much cuteness! I love Palm Springs and I love keeping celebrations simple yet festive.
