A Magical Backyard Princess Party

This party is all the proof you need that you don’t have to have a large fancy venue to have the most magical set-up! We set up this Princess party in about 45 minutes and it was in a backyard! It doesn’t always take a million bounce castles, and cotton candy machines (although, please invite me to that party!) to make a day memorable and special.

I picked out a beautiful set of decorations - all available on the happy bash co shop. After I had the decorations I kept it super simple! I just focused on one small area and making that the true statement spot! I added some side tables that I stole from my mom’s living room and some candlestick I had at home, plus some lace that my SIL had! SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE! We just stayed within our color vibe which was soft whimsical blush, cream and gold and I thought this day turned out adorable!

Miss BreAnna did all of the BEAUTIFUL desserts! I told her the vibe I wanted before-hand and then sent her photos of all my decorations so then she could color-match and run wild while staying within the same tones that we had already pulled for the party! ALWAYS send your baker photos of your invites, mood boards or decorations so that they compliment the whole set-up.

BUT I couldn’t have shared just how pretty it was without Emily Kranyak Photography. I highly encourage hiring a photographer or really attempting high quality photos of your party! If you’re going to spend the time and energy setting up a beautiful day then make sure it is captured beautifully as well! You will not ever regret looking back on photos of the day and hiring a photographer allows you to relax and enjoy the time while they snap away.

Let me know what you think! Below the photo gallery I will have links to shop these princess decorations so that you too can throw your own princess day or at least pull inspiration with a product or two! Don’t forget you can pin these photos to your Pinterest board so you have them for a party later down the road!
